I know I know pink towel isn't very manly but it's totally innocent |
So as you read on #5 on my mini life update, yes Jeremy was hit while riding home on his motorcycle Saturday night! That phone call was one of my biggest fears come to life. I can't thank God enough that he was going to be fine! So on his way home a woman pulled out of her neighborhood sans blinker (and apparently eyes) and preceded to try and drive across the lane Jeremy was driving in. I am so glad he took a biker safety course otherwise he would have been much worse off. He tried changing lanes but by the time he got closer he realized he couldn't make it to that lane so he had to hit the brakes and hope for he best. His back tire swung around pinning his left leg on the side of a small SUV and then falling off the bike causing a few things to break off the bike. Luckily the bike is easily fixed (not that it would matter it wasn't his fault) We got to the E.R. to make sure everything was fine and as it turns out the only real things wrong are a few cuts and bruises but along with that his leg has swollen up to over double it's regular size and he has to walk on crutches but within the next few weeks he will be back on the road (nothing scares me more, I can't lie...but that is where God comes in, right?)
Please do me a favor? Watch out for Motorcycles, they aren't hard to see if you just look out for them I promise they aren't hard to see!
xoxo
